Volunteer Opportunities

Soil & Soul Saturdays

Intentional Work. Intentional Reflection.

📅 Every Saturday in April, May, & September
⏰ 6:30 AM arrival | 7:00–11:30 AM program
Space is limited each week to keep the experience intentional.

  • This isn’t just volunteering.

We begin before sunrise for a reason.

There’s something different about starting the day in the quiet—before the noise, before the rush—watching the light come up over the farm.

Throughout the morning, we also create space for intentional silence within the work itself. Not everything needs to be filled with conversation. There’s value in simply working, noticing, and being present.

  • 6:30 AM – Arrival (before sunrise)
Arrive early, settle in, and take in the quiet of the farm as the day begins.

7:00 AM – Hard Start (Orientation)
We begin on time with a brief overview of the work and the intention for the morning.

7:15–11:00 AM – Guided Farm Work
Hands-on work alongside our team (planting, harvesting, bed prep, etc.)

    During this time:
There will be a designated period of intentional quiet work—as well as reflection and a chance to step back from conversation and simply engage the task, the land, and your own thoughts.

    11:00-11:30 AM – Wrap-Up
Time to slow down, reflect, and share (optional)

  • We believe there’s something meaningful about:

    • Starting the day with intention

    • Working with your hands

    • Making space for both conversation and silence

Soil & Soul Saturdays are designed to give you more than just something to do—they’re meant to create space to step away, reset, and gain clarity.

  • People looking for something more intentional than typical volunteering

    • Those in seasons of transition or seeking clarity

    • Anyone wanting to reconnect with meaningful work and rhythm

No experience needed—just a willingness to show up and engage. All ages welcome.

  • To keep this meaningful for everyone:

    • Arrival before 7:00 AM is required (we begin on time)

    • Be ready for outdoor, physical work

    • Respect both the structured flow and the quiet portions of the morning

    • This is a shared experience—your presence matters

    • Closed-toe shoes

    • Workgloves

    • Clothes you can work in

    • Water bottle

    • Hat / sunscreen (recommended)
